Lace Up, Show Up, Run with Purpose: The 2nd Annual Oakville Remembrance Trail Run

Every footprint left on a trail tells a story. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, our steps will carry a deeper meaning as we head into the winding paths of Lions Valley for the 2nd Annual Oakville Remembrance Trail Run (ORTR).

This isn’t just a morning trail run—it’s a collective act of remembrance. Whether you tackle the challenging 11 km loop or the scenic 5 km route, every kilometer logged honors the service, dedication, and sacrifice of our veterans, first responders, and their families.

Even better: all proceeds directly support Wounded Warriors Canada, funding life-changing mental health programming and services for those who have dedicated their lives to protecting ours.

Race Schedule, Start Times & Distances

The crisp November air and rugged autumn trails set the stage for an unforgettable morning in Lions Valley. Choose the distance that fits your stride:

  • 11 KM Trail Run: Starts promptly at 10:00 AM

  • 5 KM Trail Run: Starts at approximately 10:10 AM

  • Start & Finish Line: Upper Middle Park, Oakville, ON
