Oakville Culture Days 2026 Starts Sept 18 Dates Events Locations

Oakville's annual celebration of arts, culture and creativity is coming up this month.

The Town of Oakville has confirmed that Oakville Culture Days 2026 will take place from September 18 to October 4, 2026. As an official Ontario Culture Days Hub, the Town will offer free activities and programs featuring local artists, creators and community groups.

When Does Culture Days Begin?

The official Oakville kickoff is scheduled for:

Friday, September 18, 2026

10 a.m.

Town Hall

The kickoff will include a flag raising and Mayor's Proclamation.

Throughout the Culture Days period, programming will take place at several Oakville locations, including Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Oakville Museum and Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.

The Town has also listed the following Culture Days programming:

September 18: Flag Raising Kickoff and Mayor's Proclamation at Town Hall

September 27: Culture Days programming at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

October 3: Culture Days programming at Oakville Museum, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The Town describes Culture Days as an opportunity for residents to explore creativity and experience free, hands-on and behind-the-scenes arts and cultural activities.

Oakville's Continued Culture Days Participation

The Town of Oakville says the community has been ranked number one in Canada for Culture Days as the Overall Top Participating Community for four consecutive years, with more than 150 free programs and activities offered annually.
