Oakville business owners and operators have less than one week left to participate in the 2026 Business Conditions Survey.

The survey, launched by Invest Oakville, is open until September 30, 2026. The approximately 15-minute survey is designed to help the Town's Economic Development department better understand the opportunities and challenges facing Oakville's business community.

Who Can Participate?

The Town is inviting businesses of all sizes and sectors to provide input.

This includes businesses operating in professional services, advanced manufacturing, health and life sciences, digital media, retail, hospitality and entrepreneurial ventures.

The survey asks about topics including current business conditions, staffing, growth plans, investment, import and export activity, business challenges and municipal services.

How Will the Information Be Used?

According to the Town of Oakville, the survey will help identify emerging trends and inform future programs, business supports and economic development initiatives.

The initiative supports the Town's 2025–2029 Economic Development Plan, which focuses on retaining, supporting and growing Oakville's business community while fostering a resilient and competitive local economy.

The survey is also part of Invest Oakville's Branches to Business program, a Business Retention and Expansion initiative designed to strengthen relationships with local businesses and help them access resources and support.

September 30 Deadline

Oakville businesses interested in sharing their experiences and perspectives have until September 30, 2026, to complete the survey.

The Town says a summary of key survey findings will be included in Invest Oakville's 2027 Economic Development Annual Report.

For local business owners who want to share their experiences and help inform future municipal business supports, the survey provides an opportunity to offer direct feedback to the Town.
