Art in My Garden Walking Tour South Oakville

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 12, 2026 (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM) for the annual Art in My Garden neighborhood art walk in Old Oakville!

This unique, non-commercial event transforms the private backyards of historic Old Oakville (south of Lakeshore Road, between Navy and Allan streets) into temporary open-air galleries. Over 30 private gardens will open their gates, hosting more than 70 talented local artists.

What to Expect:

• Explore at Your Own Pace: Pick up an official map from event volunteers on the day of the walk to explore the participating residential gardens at your leisure.

• Guided Art Walks (11:30 AM): Join an early guided tour to learn about local neighborhood heritage while discovering highlighted featured artists.

• Interactive Community Activities: Participate in a neighborhood Stamp Hunt or paint a wooden tile for the Hanging in Harmony community installation at the Oakville Museum.

• Direct Creator Connections: Meet, chat, and connect directly with local creators under the canopy of Oakville's most beautiful gardens.
